A coworking enclave open from 9am to 7pm daily. Manyatta is named after Joseph Kessels novel Le Lion wherein the Maasai boys at the age of 15 are sent to live in a village built for them to recover from their ordeal of killing a lion in order to become a “warrior”.

The open light filled space is reminiscent of an apartment, but with an office slant to its decor. Conducive to concentration and the collaborative weaving of links, Manyatta was first established in June 2016. It attracts an eclectic crowd of likeminded souls from entrepreneurs, nomadic professionals, freelancers and inquisitive students.

Coworking membership fees wont send your bank balance into the red and there are discounts for students. You can join for as little as an hour, a day or a month, whatever suits your needs. If you prefer to float in your own bubble rather than the open space, there are private offices that can hold 2 to 4 individuals at any one time or can they be used for a meeting if you want some privacy. If you are the type of individual that likes to munch whilst toiling, there is a kitchen that you can whip up a feast in, to keep the hunger pangs at bay.

Manyatta helps the young warriors of today by providing help and support by way of school coaching – think motivational, methodology and emotional management – this is a special place for students to work either alone or in small groups with help and advice on hand to reach their goals in life, rather than slaying a lion.
